Just thought I would share this with you. My friend was in Selfridges in London yesterday Lunchtime and bumped into Michael with a male friend. She congratulated him on being given the Parky show and she said he was very chatty!!! Funny of all places to bump into our man shopping in Oxford Street!!!

Well the man has got to shop hasn't he laugh.gif perhaps on the way to the theatre. You're friend indeed had a lucky encounter, knowing my luck I'd be the person turning up 5mins later to be told......You never guess who 've just been talking too laugh.gif

Whilst watching Leanne and Ben yesterday I did have this imagine of all the cast hundled around a t.v in a dressing room, watching Ready Steady Cook . Something Ben and Michael have in common i.e. cooking with Lesley Walters. smile.gif I hope Ben liked his dish better than Michael did laugh.gif

Lucky friend Mark! Is she a fan or just knows about Michael through you? I'd be completely dumbstruck if I saw Michael anywhere other than where I was expecting to see him! rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

She isn't a fan but knows Michael through me. She obviously was very relaxed with Michael but I would have frozen if I saw him shopping!!!

What a stroke of luck!! I'm hoping to get to see him up-close at the stage door in May, but will probably make a real idiot of myself, and clam up!! Any tips for beeing "cool"????????? I'm so dying to meet him, but until now have never had the opportunity, so this time I'm making it happen (I hope!). Also going next Monday night, but as going by coach, won't have time to stop at the stage door.

Hi Chris.
There is no need to be nervous around Michael,he puts you at your ease, and makes .
you feel special,I have meet him 4 times in the last few months, and the first time
I just gave him a big hug,and I got a great big grin back from him,it just seemed
to be the right thing to do at the time, you will be fine I know,he is so easy to talk to.
he was asking me about Hayling where I live, and he said he loved it here.
I hope you get to meet him,and just enjoy the moment,he is such a lovely man.
Take Care.
Jean.

You are so right Jean he is a really lolvely man and makes you feel at ease. Although when I mety him on Saturday I was just like a star struck teenager, but he was still his lovely self and spoke to all of us just like we were old friends. I was amazed. Anyhow Chris just enjoy the moment. Luv Moira.

Thanks for that guys!! Lets hope I do get to see him, and the camera works on the day!! I'm not known for ever being lost for words..........but there's always a first time!!!
How does he react if you take him a gift??? Or am I thinking daft here - he can afford anything he likes now!!! But he gives us so much, I did think maybe I'd like to take him a miniature bottle of malt or something????? Help me out here, please!!!

I'd be tempted to say "Hi, Michael" and keep on walking with a glance over my shoulder, just to see what his reaction would be. wink.gif
