1. Gethsemane- Because this is the most powerful, moving song and where I first saw Michael. It almost makes me cry every time.

2. Life on Mars- Especially from Alone Together. I love how he can say words so that they feel like what the word means.

3. Since You've Been Gone- I just can't resist this song. It's the fun version of breakup songs. smile.gif

4. You'll Never Walk Alone- I'll admit, I'm addicted to the big notes.

5. Someone Else's Dream- Of the songs Michael has written, this is my favorite.

Bonus: The Rose and/or Love Changes Everything

I could swear i filled this in when i first joined the forum but as i don't appear to have i must not have. Anyway, my top 5 has probably changed from what is was then lol. It may well change on monday too :-D for now, in no particular order, my top 5 are : this is the moment, the boy from nowhere, just when, with one look, empty chairs and gethsemane. I'm aware i just named 6 but i can't choose!
Just when the music had started to fade, just when my words wouldn't rhyme, just when my colours were all turning grey, you changed them, you made them shine

Hard choice, but I'll try

1. This is the moment (just beautiful voice)
2. Just when (great lyrics)
3. The first time ever I saw your face (nobody can sing it better than Michael)
4. God give me strength (very emotional song)
5. All I ask of you(because it was my first Michael's song)

and much more..... smile.gif
Victoria

Great choices! I also love All I Ask of You but think just when is my absolute favourite :-D

This is such a hard question blink.gif, I love Michael's songs for many different reasons and they vary so much but if I had to my top five would be;

1. God Give Me Strength - Such an emotional and powerful song
2. This Is The Moment - Love his version of this
3. One Step Out Of Time - Catchy and fun
4. Love Changes Everything - Started it all and for that reason alone is one that's close to my heart
5. Since You've Been Gone - Strangely addictive

'Cause I like the way that I am
And you just can't stop my knife and fork
When I see a Christmas ham
So if you don't like the way that I look
Well I just don't give a damn...#

Just 5 titles! when I first heard a lot of Michael's old songs each one became the best as I listened to them but here goes.

In no particular order. They are all favorites

Show Must Go On
Gethsemane
Just When (I love this song I would like to hear more original work.)
Boy From Nowhere
Empty chairs and Empty Tables

But these could change tomorrow tongue.gif

This is in no particular order and just off the top of my head without thinking too deeply!

The Dance.

You Had Me From Hello.

The Greatest Man I Never Knew.

One Step Out of Time.

Love Changes Everything.

I still think TTIP is Michael`s best album.

1. The Boy From Nowhere (goosebumps every single time I hear this live)
2. As If We Never Said Goodbye (another great power song)
3. Love Changes Everything (the song that made it all possible)
4. This Is The Moment (love the song, great lyrics and Michael sings it so well)
5. From Here To Eterninty (fell in love with this song when I first heard it)

So many, many, many others too!! A top 5 was very difficult to pick. The Rose and Show Must Go On were very close to getting in the top 5. Also Don't Stop Me Now sang live with the delays and Michael playing is great fun

1984-2009 YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT

I am yours without a doubt, without a doubt you're mine
We have optimistic love in pessimistic times
So kiss me, say goodbye to me
Be sure you don't cry for me
I'll see you at the end
When our roads meet again

The 5 I have chosen are all related to memories.

1. "Love Changes Everything" because I didn't know about his encore and I thought this Salt Lake City concert CAN'T be over!! I haven't heard my favorite song yet!! I was literally panicked!

2. "Boy From Nowhere" because he sang it in the Salt Lake City concert and Mom and I had no idea what it was. I went searching the web and found the forum in the process.

3. "You'll Never Walk Alone" because not only does it hit a nerve with me but I also remember him performing it at the RAH in Night of a Thousand Voices and I could have floated up to the ceiling in the RAH. It was absolutely fantastic.

4. "Losing My Mind" because in the Hey Mr. Producer video it shows the best performance I think he's done??

5. "How Can I lose You" because when he sang it at Singular Sensations I thought I was going to cry right along with him!! Just Beautiful!!

I don't know......some say life is too short, others say it is too long, but I know that nothing that we do makes sense if we don't touch the hearts of others.......while it lasts!
